Mobile Skin?

A while ago, I looked up this wiki on a handheld device, and well, it looked pretty bad- very squished, and not really something that'd attract me to the site. So, I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience on a phone/ipod/whatever or if it's just me, and also if we have some sort of "mobile skin" css page we can use to clean it up? I know most people obviously use computers for this site, but I was just thinking it'd be nice to have it looking ok on whatever anyone looked the site up on. • I experienced that on an iPod; and no you are not the only one who sees this. Maybe we can input some kind of code into the css to automatically view the site in a "full site" version? Skdhjf(Talk!) 04:05, April 5, 2011 (UTC)
  • I support that, even if I don't have an Ipod :/  Samdo994 talk contribs  12:22, April 5, 2011 (UTC)
  • The mobile skin does suck - cjc 14:33, April 5, 2011 (UTC)
  • I could imagine how terrible it looks.

  • Good, so it's not just me :) Anyone know where to code the mobile skin then? NightblazeSaber 01:18, April 6, 2011 (UTC)

You can use @media handheld in the site CSS. Note that using the CSS3 size selectors would work better, and would allow us to use responsive web design (an amazing new development in web design in which resizing the window creates whole new layouts to fit the screen.) Or you can just use this: http://lego.wikia.com/index.php?title=LEGO_Wiki&useskin=monobook - Another n00b 19:10, April 30, 2011 (UTC)
