The following section is preserved as an archive. Please do not modify it. The result was upload_by_url enabled and added to the patroller group. Hi guys. I was just wondering, could we have the upload by URL thing enabled to this wiki, and maybe to the patrollers/all users section. It would make life alot easier when uploading say set images.. as then if the pictures on say Peeron or LEGO.com we can just copy the image URL in, and then we dont have to save the image to our computers, then upload the thing.. Note: The upload_by_url right is given to admins, but the tool itself isnt enabled by default. I have a feeling Recipes are using it, or atleast, I can see it as an admin.. --Lcawte 21:42, March 22, 2010 (UTC) I don't really get it. It adds an extra box to Special:Upload where you can enter a URL of an image. Personally, I dont have the time to trawl through my PC to search for all those old image files I've already uploaded, that are clogging up my important Hard Drive.
