→ User Rights Request going crazy |
Well, Last month saw 7 Requests for Admin. I was amazed. There where heaps. But, Should we have a limit or new amount of time until you can Request? Say User:Bob Mcpants requested admin then Jeffry requested admin then Mr.Bob requested rights too, And then some random gets nominated. Unlimited, because the number of nominations does not in any way reflect the eligibility of the candidates. Also changed to proper forum format. ajr 22:01, November 1, 2011 (UTC)

- Unlimited - I don't see how a limited amount would be of any practical benefit to anyone. -
- CJC 17:27, November 2, 2011 (UTC) - Comment-Let's say that we have an extraordinary editor, we'll call him Makutalover. I send him a message asking if he's like to be nominated, but he can't reply right away because he is on vacation from the 29th of November to the 5th of December. In the week that he is gone, we have three bad users-Vandalizer, Bububfan, and skulhatr. They each nominate themselves for admin, and naturally all fail. Makutalover returns from vacation and accepts my nomination, but we have to wait a month before I can nominate him. If anything, it could just make things harder, and what if again, another three bad users nominate themselves before I could get his nomination in? --Berrybrick (Talk) 19:18, November 2, 2011 (UTC)
