Gangs of the Sea is the twelfth episode of Ninjago: Dragons Rising
Plot [ ] In Imperium , Lord Ras is shown to be in a cell beneath the capitol, with Rapton enjoying watching his former superior imprisoned on monitors. As Empress Beatrix orders her forces out to obtain the Dragon Cores , he makes the mistake of questioning why they aren't going after more dragons to provide power for the city. Furiously, she expresses her determination to see the Ninja destroyed. Meanwhile, at the Monastery of Spinjitzu , the Ninja divide into teams in preparation for their own search for the Dragon Cores.
Nya and Sora quickly volunteer to team up, and Sora insists on bringing along Riyu as well. Lloyd decides to go with Arin , leaving Kai to work with Wyldfyre while Zane remains behind. He expresses the hope that by investigating the portal gate under the monastery, he can find a means of locating their still missing friends, including Pixal . As Nya and Sora prepare to leave, there is a bit of a kerfuffle over the fact that Sora's dragon friend is also referred to as Sora. Kai and Wyldfyre decide to take Heatwave , while Lloyd and Arin opt for the Destiny's Bounty
