Garven "Dave" Dreis is a playable character in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Later in 2023, he made a physical debut.

Background

Garven Dreis was a pilot who served in the Rebel Alliance. He was the leader of Red Squadron, serving alongside Luke Skywalker, Biggs Darklighter, Wedge Antilles, Theron Nett, among others. He was present during the Battle of Scarif, helping Rogue One transmit the Death Star plans to the Rebel Alliance. He later participated in the Battle of Yavin, attempting to shoot two proton torpedoes at the Death Star's exhaust port. However, the proton torpedoes missed their mark, and Dreis ordered Luke to make a run for the trench, while he distracted Darth Vader, leading him from the trench as far as possible. He was later shot down by the Dark Lord.
