Gellert Grindelwald is a Harry Potter minifigure who appears in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. He is available in two variations - Young and old. Both character tokens are found in the Astronomy Tower, which is available from Year 7 Part 2 onwards. Both variations are able to use all spells.

- Grindelwald was portrayed by two different actors who played different characters from their respective well-known films. His old counterpart from the Harry Potter films was played by Michael Byrne who also played Colonel Vogel in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade while Johnny Depp, who played Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean films as well as Tonto in The Lone Ranger, played the middle-aged version in the Fantastic Beasts films.
- While previously being a video game exclusive minigure, Gellert Grindelwald was physically released as a minifigure in the set 75951 Grindelwald’s Escape which was released on August 1 as a tie-in to the movie Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
