General Magmar was first seen in Season 2, where he led the Lava Monster Army into robbing the house of Lance's parents.

In the TV series, General Magmar is voiced by Garry Chalk. Post-Monstrox's defeat, he becomes the Mayor of the Lava Monsters.
Coincidentally, he shares his name with a Pokémon called Magmar, who is also fire-themed.
