The Orc Leader was the Witch-king's lieutenant at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields. After the Witch-king was destroyed, he assumed full command of Sauron's army, however it was not long before he was killed by Aragorn. He rode a warg at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields

- Gothmog is not specifically identified as an Orc in The Lord of the Rings, but rather as the "lieutenant of Morgul"; the name also appears in The Silmarillion and denotes the Lord of the Balrogs.
