Grampa Abraham Simpson is a minifigure released in 2014 as a part of The Simpsons theme.
Background[]
Abraham Simpson is Homer's old, senile father. He tells a great deal of stories no one listens to or cares about. He was put in a retirement home that's become worse than a prison to him by Homer. In his stories, they don't go anywhere and he complains about the things today and what things in his day where like contrary to today. Abraham is a World War II veteran. He was friends with a much younger Mr. Burns in WWII and also attempted to kill Santa.
Notes[]
- The accessory his Minifigure has is a newspaper, which is a reference to The Simpsons episode "The Old Man and the Key".
- He is the only Simpson family member who did not appear in 71006 The Simpson Family House.
- On The Simpsons, Dan Castellaneta voiced Grampa Simpson in additon to Homer Simpson, Krusty the Clown, Itchy, Barney Gumble, Groundskeeper Willie, Mayor Quimby and Hans Moleman. Castellanata also voiced the Genie in Return of Jafar and the Aladdin TV series.
