The Guardian of the Deep is a giant black shark covered with golden Atlantean symbols. The shark is one of the few Guardian Beasts from the Atlantis theme, guarding the red Shark Key. The Giant Shark also appeared in the LEGO Atlantis: The Movie. In the movie, the ancient fish encounters the Salvage Crew, and was defeated by having himself be tricked into swallowing a decoy diver (which was an air tank with a helmet). The Shark was about to eat Captain Ace Speedman but before he could, the air tank goes off inside his body and blows him up. Becoming a black blimp full of air, the shark is left to an unknown fate as he floats and farts himself away. The Shark also appeared in an LEGO Atlantis comic, where he was defeated by Bobby Buoy.
