Hibernus, also known as the Master of Ice, is a Ninjago minifigure first introduced in 2015. He will physically debut in 2026. He was a member of the Elemental Masters in Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and Zane's predecessor.
History[]
The Master of Ice was among the generation of Elemental Masters who fought in the Serpentine Wars and later against the Hands of Time, though he was noticeably older than most of his comrades. He was also present during the events of "Lost in Time" when the Time Twins and their Vermillion traveled back in time in the Iron Doom in order to alter history. Fortunately, the intervention of Kai and Nya with their Fusion Dragon enabled the Elemental Masters to win the battle, and the timeline was restored to its proper order. Some years later-when Sensei Wu had become an old man himself-he learned that the Master of Ice had paid a visit to Dr. Julien and Zane. The master was apparently impressed by the young Nindroid, and through some unknown means passed his elemental powers on to Zane.
