Jungle is a City subtheme introduced in 2017.
Description[]
Jungle is similar to the 1999 Jungle subtheme of Adventurers, with both themes revolving around brave explorers in exotic jungles with ancient booby-trapped temples. Unlike Adventurers, this City subtheme's modern setting is reflected in the designs of the explorers' vehicles and clothing. The vehicles are predominantly flame yellowish orange with dark stone grey highlights. In addition to temple ruins, the theme features exotic wildlife including Venus flytrap plants, crocodiles, spiders, panthers, leopards, and tigers. There are no named characters; most of the minifigures are generic Jungle Explorers, although a few are assigned specific roles such as scientists, pilots, and base camp workers.
In 2024, Jungle would be succeeded by the Explorer subtheme's Jungle Explorer sets.
