The King,[1][2] also known as the Lion King,[3] is a minifigure in the LEGO Kingdoms theme.
Description[]
In his initial appearance in 2010, the King's accessories and clothing are very similar to Crown King Brutus, as he wears a chest plate, a golden crown with a red plume, and carries a golden sword. His head has unique printing on his face, making him look solemn and dignified. His torso and legs are shared with the Lion Prince.
From 2011 onward, the King has a different torso and leg pieces, and no longer has a breastplate. In most sets, he has a dark red cape and no plume, although in 853373 Kingdoms Chess Set, he retains the bright red cape and plume from his first appearance.
Background[]
The King is one of the main characters in the Kingdoms theme and the leader of the Lion Kingdom. His royal subjects include the Royal Lion Knights.
