Background[]
Kobe Bryant was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in the 1996 NBA draft but was soon traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. He played all 20 years of his career with the Lakers and is commonly considered one of the greatest players in Lakers franchise history. Bryant lead the Lakers to 5 championships, was named the 2007 League MVP and ranks fourth in NBA history in total points. On January 26, 2020, he passed away in a helicopter accident along with his daughter Gianna and seven others. He was posthumously inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

- His minifigure uses the number 8. Later on, Bryant changed his number to 24.
