- "Explore vast, open worlds where the magic of LEGO® building and Fortnite collide. Find the ultimate survival crafting LEGO adventure in Fortnite!"
- ―Description in Fortnite
LEGO Fortnite is a survival crafting game mode in Fortnite released on December 7th 2023. Players must explore and collaborate with each other through play.
Gameplay[]
LEGO® Fortnite is a survival sandbox in which your objective is to explore a vast procedurally generated landscape, collect resources, craft items, battle enemies and make your own village filled with Fortnite characters, such as the "Brite Bomber" who will be your main guide through the world of LEGO® Fortnite. Players have the option of doing this by themselves or with up to seven friends.
- How to create a world? To begin playing LEGO® Fortnite you will need to select the gamemode just like any other gamemode in the creative game section, then select between different options such as stamina restrictions, hunger or creature spawns. These settings can not be changed after a world has been created. Most importantly, players must choose which mode their world should be:
- Cozy - Just like Survival, but with easier combat.
- Survival - Build, gather, craft and face off against mighty foes while exploring the world!
- Sandbox - Spawn the items you need and build without resource requirements!
- Expert - Survival difficulty increases, players won't respawn after elimination, and Storm-Wild creatures roam the land. Following villagers will respawn at their village when eliminated. Party up to increase your chance of survival!
LEGO® Style[]
With the introduction of LEGO® Fortnite, all Non-Collaborative Outfits along with a few Collaboration Outfits now come with an equivalent LEGO Style that are used when playing the game mode, regardless if they come from the Battle Pass, or the Item Shop, however as of v28.01, only a select amount have been fully finished. The currently unfinished outfits will be completed in future updates, with the ones that are to be updated next have an icon indicating that that Outfit will be the next in line. Additionally, a selection of Emotes may be used with the LEGO styles and in the game mode, though Sprays and Emoticons cannot be used.

Notes[]
- LEGO Fortnite was teased through The Big Bang event, where one of the galaxies transports the player into a LEGO universe.
- LEGO Fortnite is part of a long-term partnership between Epic Games and The LEGO Group, which was first announced on April 7th 2022.
- The adventure/survival mechanics of LEGO Fortnite was most likely taken from the scrapped mode codenamed "Saturn", which was hinted in July 2021.
- All currently unfinished outfits use common LEGO Minifigure pieces and types of hair, torso, and feet that are recolored to create a close approximation of the outfit the final version of the figure would be based off of, though all of them use a generic head that is colored to match the estimated skin color of that outfit.
- As of Update v31.20, over 1,700 outifts have a LEGO style and over 530 emotes can be used in LEGO Fortnite.
- Studs being the resource used for unlocking items in the LEGO® Pass may be a reference to how many LEGO® video games use Studs both as a form of completion and as a form of currency for use in unlocking rewards such as additional characters or cheats.
