LEGO Party! is a multiplayer party game that released on September 30, 2025.

Background[]

It was first announced on June 6, 2025. Developed by SMG Studio and published by Fiction, the game tasks players with traversing across a board to collect golden bricks and playing a variety of minigames along the way. You will be able to customize your minifigure, with over 1 billion combinations being possible. You can play solo or with 3 other players. It will feature Challenge Zones and 60 minigames based on themes like Pirates, Space, and Ninjago[1].

Gameplay[]

In LEGO Party!, four players can participate in one of four selectable modes. The main mode is Challenge Mode, where players tour around a board and play minigames to win Studs, which they can then give to Mr. Gold to purchase a Golden Brick from him. Other events can grant Studs or take them away, and players also have a chance to pass by a Shop to buy Power-Ups or by a Thief to steal Studs and Golden Bricks from other players.

At the start of each round, players play a Minigame to determine the turn order, as well as the Studs they are awarded: if several players are tied, their turn order is chosen randomly. From there, players will roll a number between 1 and 8, which determines the amount of spaces they can move. Spaces include:

  • Free Studs: Players gain 5 Studs.
  • Lose Studs: Players lose 5 Studs.
  • Lucky: Players can win 5 to 25 Studs by spinning a wheel. There a chance that they also gain a Power-Up.
  • Free Power-Up: Players can gain a Power-Up by spinning a wheel.
  • Event: Various events take place, which affects certain players and causes several changes to happen.
  • Build: Players can choose how they want to customize the board. For each Build Space, two options are available.
  • Shop: Players can buy one of three available Power-Ups.
  • Thief: Players can steal Studs or Golden Bricks from other players: Golden Bricks cost 75 Studs, while Studs can be stolen free of charge.
  • Chance: Players stop individual reels, the end result determining the players and what they swap or give to each other.

Once half of the turn are over, an event called Escalation Time takes place, increasing the effects of Free/Lose Studs Spaces and the rewards of minigames. Chance Spaces are also added on the board. The last round features a second Escalation Time, with Shops replaced by Chance Spaces and Free Power-Up Spaces being replaced by Lucky Spaces. The effects of Free/Lose Studs Spaces and minigame rewards are increased again.
