LEGO sapiens is largely a white skeleton, using the 2013 variant with vertical-facing hands and updated skull printing. It wears a reddish brown Fedora Hat. The skeleton comes with a black and reddish brown display stand with a "LEGO SAPIENS" plaque applied as a sticker.

LEGO sapiens is a skeleton on display at the museum alongside Dinosaur Fossils of Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops horridus, and Pteranodon longiceps. These skeletons are studied by the paleontologist Flint.

- The name "LEGO sapiens" is a LEGO-themed pun on Homo sapiens, the scientific name of the human species.
- The LEGO sapiens skeleton's fedora is an homage to LEGO set designer Niels Milan Pedersen, who worked on 21320 Dinosaur Fossils. According to LEGO senior model designer Justin Ramsden, Pedersen was also the basis of Johnny Thunder, who similarly wears a brown slouch hat.[1]
