Lamborghini is a licensed sub-theme of Racers introduced in 2009. Unlike most Racers sub-themes, it provides large-scale, highly detailed models intended for display as well as play.

The theme's two sets feature detailed, 1:17th scale models of existing Lamborghini cars. The cars released so far are the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4, in its iconic yellow paint job, and the Gallardo Polizia, based on the two vehicles given to the Italian State Police as gifts and sprayed in blue and white.
Actual Vehicles[]
Lamborghini S.p.A., based in Bolognese, Italy, has been producing high-performance and luxury vehicles since the creation of the company in 1963. Lamborghini currently makes two basic models, the Gallardo and the Aventador. Each model comes in several versions, such as a convertible version and a high-performance version. The Gallardo is also available in a Spyder (convertible) version, considered by the company to be a separate model entirely. The 8169 LEGO version of the Gallardo includes alternate building instructions for the Spyder, as well as a third set for a Coupé version.
