Lightsaber

Class 4

A Lightsaber is a weapon used in the Star Wars line. Lightsabers consist of two pieces; Part 23306 and Part 30374. However, other characters like Asajj Ventress have had a different lightsaber hilt piece using Part 61199 while retaining Part 30374. Lightsabers are commonly used by only the Jedi and Sith, such as Plo Koon and Darth Maul. Most often the Jedi or Sith and Dark Side supporters only carry one lightsaber, although General Grievous has four lighsabers, one in each of his hands. Some characters such as Darth Maul have a double lightsaber. In the years before 2005, the lightsaber handles were made out of chrome. Then, up until 2008, lightsaber handles were dull light gray. After 2008 and into the present, the handles were a combination of both, which was a reflective metal tint. Palpatine's lightsaber's hilt in 9526 Palpatine's Arrest is golden.
