Ninjago: Dragons Rising

Season One

In "The Merge, Part 1", Lobbo takes part in the Mech Master 5000 race alongside Kreel, Arin, Sora, and various other competitors. Due to the race being disrupted by Imperium Claw Hunters in pursuit of Riyu, he ends up winning the race, apparently in defiance of his mother's low expectations of him. In "Crossroads Carnival", Kreel has her Whack Rats abduct Lobbo and demands that he turn over his prize money, which she claims is rightfully hers. Lobbo, who had been spending the funds freely at the carnival, asserts his own claim and dumps the coins into his mouth as a means of keeping them out of Kreel's hands.

Arin, Sora, and Riyu arrive to help Lobbo, and soon learn that Kreel wants Lobbo's winnings as a ransom for her friend Targle. Leaving Lobbo with her, the trio go to rescue Targle, and return to find that Kreel and Lobbo have gotten better acquainted in their absence. In "Wyldly Inappropriate", Lobbo takes part in the "Zane-alike" contest being held for "Zane Day" in the Crossroads. Though his performance is somewhat paltry, it proves disruptive enough to the less than stellar efforts of the real Zane for Lobbo to take first place in the contest. In "The Power Within, Lobbo is among the denizens of the Crossroads to be caught up in the MergeQuake Storm caused by Empress Beatrix, but is saved from being drawn into a rift by the Ninja.

The Elemental Mechs

In "What the Mech?", Lobbo peruses Kreel's Junkyard and ends up being zapped by one of her dangerous new pieces of merchandise. Its energy causes Lobbo to mutate into a monstrous, highly aggressive version of himself. Several of the Ninja, having arrived to investigate, employ new Elemental Mechs to subdue Lobbo. Arin is then able to reason with Lobbo and calm him down enough for Sora to construct a device to drain the energy out of Lobbo. Restored to normal and with no apparent memory of his recent rampage, Lobbo shrugs off the strangeness and departs.
