Mac is a Life on Mars minifigure introduced in 2001.

Description[]

Mac wears a grey spacesuit with black legs, hands, and legs. He has a chrome blue EMU (Extravehicular Mobility Unit). His head piece depicts two black dot eyes, a grey beard, two grey eyebrows, and a confident white smile; this is shared with two other minifigures, Foreman Stu and Jedi Bob.

In LEGO Racers 2, the EMU is substituted with a standard Crash Helmet.

Background[]

Mac is the captain, experienced space pilot, and top mechanic of the Solar Explorer crew. Various entries of the online radio logs are narrated by Mac in his Captain's Log.[1] They fly to Mars in the Solar Explorer but their ship is struck by meteors and crash-lands on Mars. After befriending the local Martians, the astronauts help the Martians retrieve the biodium scrolls, create synthetic biodium, and thwart the rebellious canyon Martians.

LEGO Racers 2[]

In LEGO Racers 2, Mac appears as a recurring opponent CPU racer on Dino Island, Mars, and the Arctic during the Galactic Racing Championship. He also appears on Sandy Bay during Bonus Games and Arcade mode.
