Professor Moody was a former Auror and was meant to be a Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts. However, the teacher was actually Barty Crouch Jr who had captured Moody and used Polyjuice Potion to impersonate him. The real Mad-Eye Moody was locked insisde an enchanted chest. His peg leg replaces his missing right leg. In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the real Mad-Eye Moody is killed. His hiss like a snake and his head come off at the end of the Lego Harry Potter video game film.
