Maharajah is an Indiana Jones minifigure. He is playable in LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. In the video game, when he tortures Short Round, he is wearing his red clothing, in the movie, he did not.
Background[]
Maharajah Zalim Singh is the child elder of Pankot, secretly mind-controlled by his Prime Minister Chatter Lal. After the destruction of the mine beneath the Pankot Palace, he helps Indiana Jones escape.
Appearances[]
- 77014 The Temple of Doom (unreleased)
Video Games[]
Notes[]
- In LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures he throws bottles of black sleep to regenerate the Thuggee Slave Driver's health, but does not have the black sleep when he is being played. In the sequel, the Maharajah has the black sleep ability, which can be used to control the minds of other characters and also animals like crocodiles. The Maharajah can pass through the small holes, like Short Round and the Mayapore slaves.
- On the DS version of Lego Indiana Jones The Original Adventures he is playable in his Thuggee outfit.
- Despite not being released as a physical minifigure in the initial Indiana Jones wave led by LEGO in the late 2000s, the Maharaja was set to be physically released in 77014 The Temple of Doom, replacing the Chief Guard from the original 7199 The Temple of Doom set. However, as the set was cancelled before its release in 2023, so was the Maharaja minifigure.
