- Quimby is the first non-physical Simpsons minifigure who will first appear in the official LEGO video game.
- He is one of several characters that were voiced by Dan Castellaneta on The Simpsons. The rest of the characters Castellaneta voiced include Homer Simpson, Krusty the Clown, Grampa Simpson, Itchy, Barney Gumble, Groundskeeper Willie and Hans Moleman. Castellanata also voiced the Genie in Return of Jafar and the Aladdin TV series.
