Mermaid is a Pirates minifigure released in 2009. She appears in two sets, 6243 Brickbeard's Bounty and 6299 Pirates Advent Calendar.
Description[]
The Mermaid has a bare bright yellow torso with a silver seashell bra and a star-shaped necklace. She has a double-sided face with feminine eyelashes and lipstick; one expression shows her smiling, the other shows her looking afraid. Her hair is a reddish brown Princess Hair. The earth green tail piece first appeared as part of the Harry Potter Merman in 4762 Rescue from the Merpeople.
In 55000 LEGO Universe, a variation of the Mermaid appears as the Siren Stunner. The Siren Stunner retains the hair (albeit colored red), head, and body of the Mermaid, but the tail piece is replaced with a brick-built model.
Background[]
A figurehead in the likeness of a cutlass-wielding Mermaid decorates the bowsprit the Brickbeard's Bounty. An actual Mermaid character is received on Day 14 of the Pirates Advent Calendar; on the box art, she is shown leaping out of the frozen sea and surprising an Imperial Guard.
The Mermaid appears in unlockable Concept Art for LEGO Battles, but never actually appears in actual gameplay.
In 55000 LEGO Universe, Siren Stunners are buildable statues found in Gnarled Forest. Once built, the Siren Stunner starts singing, which will distract nearby Stromling Pirates and Stromling Admirals. This effect lasts until the Siren Stunner falls apart and needs to be rebuilt.
