Moaning Myrtle is a ghost that lives on the 2nd floor girl's toilets at Hogwarts.
Background
She appeared for the first time in the Year Two trailer of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. She died about 50 years before the Harry Potter series begins due to looking into the Basilisk's deadly gaze, in the time that Tom Riddle was not yet Lord Voldemort and he wrote in his diary. However, Myrtle's death was the catalyst for Tom's transformation into the Dark Lord in that he created his first Horcrux out of his diary after she died.

Myrtle is a boss in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 in the Year 2 level "Tom Riddle's Diary" and is a playable character in the Year 4 level "Secrets of the Egg"

- Her death was used to make Tom Riddle's Diary a Horcrux.
- Myrtle has a crush on Harry, despite the fact that she is dead, and has once or twice spied on him.
