- "Wait a minute! What's goin' on here?!"
- ―Mr. Mxyzptlk in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
Mr. Mxyzptlk is a minifigure with a light nougat face that features a very happy expression most of the time. He has white hair that is exclusive to the minifigure along with a small purple bowler cap. His torso is yellow with a purple undershirt printing to a seemingly small yellow shirt with no sleeves. Mxyzptlk is also not muscular but it features what somewhat muscle he has. His arms are tan with purple gloves. Mxyzptlk's legs are short legs that are also yellow with purple boot printing.
Mr. Mxyzptlk (pronounced mix-yiz-pit-lick) first appeared in Superman #30 (September 1944). He is usually presented as a trickster, in the classical mythological sense, in that he enjoys tormenting Superman. In most of his appearances in DC Comics, he can be stopped only by tricking him into saying or spelling his own name backwards (Kltpzyxm - "kel-tip-zix-um"), which will return him to his home in the 5th dimension and keep him there for a minimum of 90 days. However, this specific limitation of the character has been eliminated since the Crisis on Infinite Earths reboot, upon which the character leaves only when he willingly agrees to do so after meeting some conditions he sets, such as having Superman succeed in getting Mxy to paint his own face blue. Due to being a 5th dimensional being, he has various magical powers, such as flight, energy projection and reality warping.
In LEGO Batman 3
Mr. Mxyzptlk can be unlocked by going to The Hall of Doom/Hall of Justice and upon completing two missions for him, he will be unlocked.
He also appeared in the end credits as one of the characters who pop up in a story building.
- Gilbert Godfried reprised his role as Mr. Mxyzptlk from Superman: The Animated Series and went on to play him again in Justice League Action.
