Pharaoh Skeleton[1][2][Note 1] is a minifigure introduced in 1998 that appears in many Adventurers Egypt sets.

Description[]

The Pharaoh Skeleton is a skeleton, with the same white body, ball-jointed arms, and printed skull face as all other skeletons since their debut in 1995. These skeletons uniquely wear nemes headdresses; the nemes may be bright yellow with gold and blue stripes, bright yellow, or white.

Background[]

A Pharaoh Skeleton guards an ancient treasure chamber in the oasis.[3] In Johnny Thunder and the Lost Ruby, the Adventurers discover a Pharaoh Skeleton with a map in its sarcophagus, and they take the skeleton to the museum while Johnny Thunder follows the map. He encounters another Pharaoh Skeleton at the sphinx, guarding another map inside its sarcophagus.[4]

The Mummy's Curse[5] power up in LEGO Racers features the Pharaoh Skeleton's skull and nemes. It is a hazard that can be dropped by collecting a yellow brick with three white bricks. There are green flames under the skull of Pharaoh Skeleton when deployed. When another racer touches the trap, the skull will start circling around the green-tinted car with a distorted sound while the Mummy's Curse reverses the car's steering so the racer cannot drive normally for a few seconds. If someone else bumps into the cursed driver, they are also afflicted by the Mummy's Curse.

In 5784 Soccer Mania, Pharaoh Skeletons (along with regular skeletons, and Eddie Elbow) emerge from sarcophagi during the "Mummy Madness" Skill Zone challenge and try to approach the player's team. The player must tackle the enemies, which causes them to burst into flame and return to their sarcophagi. Completing this challenge unlocks Eddie Elbow as a playable character, but the Pharaoh Skeleton cannot be unlocked without modifying the game; doing so reveals that it has the internal name SKILL0 P4 and even stats in all areas.[6]
