Newspaper Kid is a minifigure with short bendable sand yellow legs, with a brown patch printed on the left leg. He has a white short-sleeved shirt (represented with dual-molded white and bright yellow arms) printed with two buttons on his collar, creases on his sleeves, and suspenders holding his pants up. He also wears a reddish brown Mini Hat, No. 184 and carries a Shoulder Bag. His face is printed with freckles, black eyebrows, and a wide-open mouth showing his buck teeth and red tongue. He holds a newspaper (printed with a front-page article about the 1978 Police Officer) in one hand and a slingshot in the other.
