The Ninji is a Super Mario brick-built figure released in 2021.
Description[]
Ninji is a cubic, mostly black figurine, but its two-by-tile at the front has two red buttons and implies that it has a white body. Unlike the Goombas, its action tile is on its back, but it likewise takes one stomp to defeat and gives Mario, Luigi, or Peach one coin.
Background[]
Ninjis were a minor foe introduced in Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic in 1987, and subsequently transferred to the Mario franchise with the international version of Super Mario Bros. 2 in 1988.
