The Octopus is a Animal Minifigure that has appeared in many LEGO sets within the Aquazone, Divers, Pirates and Harry Potter themes.
History
The figure made it's debut in 2005 with the introduction the Aquazone theme, and originally came only in black. Since it's debut, the black colored octopus has appeared in multiple sets. In 2008, the Agents theme set 8636 Mission 7: Deep Sea Quest was the first and only set to feature a glow-in-the-dark transparent light blue octopus figure. The first reddish-brown coloured octopus figure was featured in the Pirates set 6240 Kraken Attackin', as a mythical beast called the Kraken.
