The Octopus is a The Goonies character introduced in LEGO Dimensions in 2017.
Background[]
The Octopus is a self-explanatory animal that roams the cave waters surrounding One-Eyed Willy's Pirate Ship. When Stef and Mouth made their way to the ship along with the rest of the Goonies, they were pulled under by its tentacles and Data, who described the creature as a "giant sushi", rushed to the rescue by placing a cassette player into its maw.
Trivia[]
- Although the Octopus only appears in a deleted scene in the film, it is mentioned by Data during the ending. This is referenced in LEGO Dimensions, where the Goonies decide not to tell anyone they encountered it because no-one would believe them, but Data decides he still wants to tell everyone about it.
