Patrick Star, a prominent character in the SpongeBob SquarePants television series, was made into a minifigure for the LEGOSpongeBob SquarePants theme, based upon the television series he derived from. Patrick Star has been stated as Spongebob's best friend. He is also considered the least intelligent of all of SpongeBob's friends, but considered probably the funniest character of the series. Patrick is a pink starfish. He wears no shirt, but green swimming trunks with purple flower designs. He lives under a rock and is neighbors with Spongebob Squarepants and Squidward. In 2006 upon Patrick's first release, he had a bare belt and legs, in 2007 he had decorated legs, however in the 2009 boxart the bottom section of the belt was colored the same shade of his skin, which caused toy controversy. He will be re-introduced in 2011.In 3815 Heroic Heroes of The Deep,he has a green eyemask,a green cape,a yellow shirt with the emblem of a star,a belt and a pair of yellow trousers with green underwear and green shoes.
