The Pawn is a Knights' Kingdom II minifigure introduced in 2004.
Description[]
The Pawn wears medium blue armor with medium stone grey hands and hip, and white decorative stripes on his torso. He has a medium blue Steel Helmet. His head is printed with a grey beard, crow's feet, and a frowning facial expression.
Background[]
The Pawn has no known role in the Knights' Kingdom storyline, although he appears to be a soldier from Talonjay, the home province of Jayko.
In G678 Knights' Kingdom Chess Set, eight Pawns act as the pieces on the white player's front lines. A Pawn can only move directly forward, except when capturing an enemy piece. Upon reaching the black player's side of the board, the Pawn can be replaced with a Knight, Bishop, Rook, or Queen.

- Despite the name of the polybag set 5999 Jayko, the Pawn appears to be a generic Talonjay soldier instead of Jayko himself. This may be a similar case to early BIONICLE media conflating the names of the Toa Mata and their respective Wahi regions. Jayko himself appears separately in G678 Knights' Kingdom Chess Set as the Bishop.
