Pirate Cook Bart,[1] also known as Butcher[2] or Salty,[3] is Pirates a minifigure introduced in 2015.

Description[]

Pirate Cook Bart has facial scruff, an eyepatch, and only one tooth on his lower jaw. He wears a stained apron over his bare torso, with a fish skeleton tied around his waist.

Background[]

After having been repeatedly rejected from culinary school, Bart became the cook aboard the Brick Bounty due to being a better cook than any other pirate in Captain Redbeard's crew. Despite being a vegetarian, he cooks delicious steaks for his meat-loving crew. However, he apparently uses revolting ingredients in his stew.

In LEGO Quest & Collect, Butcher is a physical attacker with the skills "Have a Taste of this!", "Tenderizing", and "Daily Nutrition".

Pirate Cook Bart appears in LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed as a support unit with the abilities "Dishwater Soup Fling", "Citrus Swig", "Dangerous Cooking", and "Powerful Stench".

In LEGO Fortnite, Salty is a recruitable NPC villager who can be assigned tasks by the player.[4]

A pirate with a passion for cooking. Or passion is maybe an exaggeration. At least he is better at cooking than the rest of the crew.

NAME: Butcher
THEME: PIRATES
Chef for the Redbeard Pirates, he cooks tasty steaks for his ravenous meat-loving pirate crew, but nobody knows that he is actually a vegetarian himself!

A thoroughly stained support unit whose cooking buffs allies and enfeebles enemies. Life under the Jolly Roger can be pretty cutthroat, but if the pirates ever saw what goes into the stew, they'd be throwing THEMSELVES overboard.

Trivia
Most pirate cooks get their jobs because they're pirates who drew the short straw on the ship, but Bart actually started as a pirate chef only after repeated rejections from culinary school. Now Bart spends his time merrily cooking up soups, stews, and gruels that not only work as sustenance; you could also use them to strip the varnish off the decks if they ever need refinishing.

Breakfast Shift
Debuted in 2015.

Health Department
Appears only once, in "The Brick Bounty" Pirate set.

Looking Fresh
Has a unique face and torso print.
