Princess Peach (casually Peach, usually known as Princess Toadstool outside of Japan prior to Super Mario 64) is a Super Mario figure that was introduced in 2022.
Description[]
Princess Peach is a larger than a usual Minifigure and features electronic functionality: her eyes, mouth, and chest all light up in different manners according to her reaction. The figurine includes a scanner that allows the figure to react to specialized tiles included in the Super Mario sets and react to bricks depending on their colours.
Background[]
Princess Peach Toadstool is the beautiful, blonde ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. She can be found mostly residing in her castle along with all the Toads and Toadettes who acts as her royal servants. Her kingdom is always attacked by the Koopa Troop, a group that is led by Bowser, who attempts to kidnap her, but it always ends in Mario or Luigi rescuing her, after either defeating Bowser or sending him into the lava via an axe or button.
She is also a love interest of the Mario Bros.
