Professor Horace Slughorn appears in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Professor Slughorn comes out of retirement to teach Potions at Hogwarts. He also fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, and survived. He had also taught Tom Riddle about the Horcrux when Tom had asked him some years before.

In LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 Slughorn has the ability of turning into an armchair. There are two other variations of Slughorn that can be unlocked, Slughorn (Young) and Slughorn (Pyjamas).
Background[]
Horace E. F. Slughorn was Potions Master and Head of Slytherin House. Professor Slughorn was Potions Master and Head of Slytherin House for over fifty years at Hogwarts School before retiring in 1981. In 1942, Slughorn gave Lord Voldemort information about Horcruxes. He was persuaded by a old colleague, Albus Dumbledore, to return to teaching.

- Slughorn has the same hat as the Graduate from Minifigures, but his hat is in Purple (Pyjamas) and brown (young) while Graduate's hat is in Black which is also used in the regular one.
- He's the only male Hogwarts staff member who did not appear in the 2001-2002 sets nor the 2010-2011 sets.
- Jim Broadbent, who played Slughorn in the movies, also played Charles Stanforth in the fourth Indiana Jones movie.
