Rawhide Kid is a playable character in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2.
Background[]
Born in 1850, Johnathan Clay was an orphan who was raised by Ben Bart, a Texas Ranger with a ranch outside Rawhide, Texas. After Ben was shot in the back during a duel, Johnny avenged his death by turning the killers to justice and decided to use his gun-fighting prowess to fight evildoers throughout the West, calling himself Rawhide Kid after the town where everything began.
Trivia[]
- Rawhide Kid was revealed to be gay in a controversial 2003 Marvel MAX series featuring the character. This characterization continued into the sequel 2010 series, in which the stereotyping present in the prior series was dramatically toned down.
