Remus Lupin, also known as Professor Lupin is a Harry Potter Minifigure introduced in 2004 and then redesigned in 2011.
Background
Remus John Lupin was turned into a werewolf when he was little by Finrur Greyback. In school he became a maurader with his best friends James Potter, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew. They were well known for being troublemakers.Harry Potter's third Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts. He resigned the Defense Against the Dark Arts post because Snape let it lip that Lupin was a werewolf. leaving it open again . He was a member of the Order of the Phoenix, and married Nymphadora Tonks. He was also the last surviving member of the four mauraders, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black, James Potter and himself. He fought alongside Harry in the Battle of Hogwarts, but was one of the casualties of the war. He was last seen fighting a death eater named Dolohav. Lupin is one of the four that Harry brings back with the reserection stone. Lupin and tonks gave birth to a boy named Teddy Lupin (after tonk's late father Ted Tonks).
Notes
- In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, When Lupin transforms into a werewolf, his suit is no longer shown as being worn, whereas on the minifigure, it is.
