The leader of Hero Factory team Alpha 1, Preston Stormer is really interesting in looks, and is something worth checking out.
Box
The canister depicts mostly what you could start building, and you could also see a multitude of 2236 Scorpio in the background.
Looks
His armor is really well-made. Starting from the helmet, you could see the rhino theme going on, with the horn on the helmet. The armor is pretty bulky, and the way the torso piece is used as a sort of shield is really interesting. His claw also has some intrigue, as Lego describes this as one with a "shooter." This is probably a pseudo-shooter, an ornament. The body is also wider than the others, making it possible to place wing-like attachments.
Building
The building aspect is simple, like most others: snap, snap, snap. But after that, the fun really begins. You may find the simplicity of the building add to the playability value. Not only that, it's also compatible with the 2.0 figures and Technic parts.
The Finished Model
Stormer now looks really awesome in the finish. Headstrong (and I mean literally) and confident, he gets around. His design is simple, but rather dashing.
Final Comments
Now, this set is probably a must-buy. It's cheap, and has more pieces that you could work with when compared with others, like 2143 Rocka 3.0, so you can do a lot of combinations with just this set. But the more you have, the more combinations possible.
Summary
This small canister sure does pack a heavy punch for its price. This, and all other features incorporated with it, can give you a good starter to your Hero Factory collection.
