LEGO Logo Building Experience: Experienced.

This set was released in 2010 for ages 7-12. It has 162 and is on sale for $24.99/£24.99 and comes to a very disappointing 15¢/15p per piece, solely as there is a hell of a lot of minifigures and plus it's a licensed set. There are 6 minifigures, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, C-3PO, R2-D2, a Sandtrooper and a Security Droid. It is a remake of 7110 Landspeeder and the one in 4501 Mos Eisley Cantina.

The Build[]

The set isn't very hard to build as there aren't to many new building techniques. One thing that you do need to do is to bend two metal "pipes" into position around the speeder which may be fiddly. The speeder takes up 39 steps.

The Landspeeder[]

The landspeeder can carry two minifigures in it although another minifigure may sit on the back. It has three engines at the back, two smooth and one ridged, and although the top engine is on a rotating axle the engine does not move around. Also beneath this engine is a storage space, but a lightsaber needs to be disassembled to actually fit into it. The look of the speeder is quite sleek with the bent bar at the front and it's streamlined design. Although speeder is a nice build I don't believe it's enough for a set of this price.

Minifigures[]

This set is very strongly minifigure based as it has 6 of them. The first is Luke Skywalker this is the first time his new design has been in a set, he also has a blue lightsaber even though in the film he didn't own one at this point. The second one is Obi-Wan Kenobi who again had a new face design for Tatoonie and again has a lightsaber even though he didn't use his at this bit in the film. This set also has the two droids C-3PO and R2-D2, C-3PO has his gold colouring that was used from this set till 2012 and R2-D2 is always a fan favourite and goes fantastically with C-3PO. The Sandtrooper is a nice little version of the classic stormtrooper, he has a small pauldron around his neck and a back pack with two lightsaber handles, this variant of the sandtrooper is only found in this set making it rare. Lastly is the half figure Security Droid which is made up of 6 quite common pieces so even though it's only found in this set it's not really hounded for.

Playability[]

The speeder is quite small and compact making it very playful and durable making it an excellent present for a smaller child as it isn't really that difficult to put together. Also the fact that it contains such a high amount of minifigures again makes it even more playable and fun.
