Hello and welcome to my expansive LEGO The Incredibles review. I say expansive because I am going to be putting in a lot more points and details about this game compared to my review on steam and unlike that review I have more playtime and experience with this game so my opinions have altered slightly on some small details that I have learnt while playing this game. If you want a quick review with a summarized version of my feelings towards this game click here. Now that I have your attention and have the readers who are here for the long run, "It's showtime" - Bob Parr

Value of Money[]

Every version expect the Steam release costs $59.99 while the Steam release costs only $39.99. I personally think waiting for the Steam release of this game to get on sale is the best option to get this game. I have seen this game go for $9.99 and $19.99 during major Steam sale events so getting this game for cheap on Steam won't be too hard and I do think paying $19.99 or less is the most fair amount of money to pay for this game considering what this game has to offer.

Story/Accuracy to Movies[]

LEGO The Incredibles portrays both movies in this game however the game has you play Incredibles 2 levels before The Incredibles levels which is very jarring to me and makes the story very confusing for people who aren't as familiar with the movies as I am. This game, like many LEGO games based off of movies made after 2012, has voice acting is very accurate to the movies that this game portrays. There are minor changes in the cutscenes to have more jokes in for kids and have more characters to make every section co op even though the movie had one character in the scene and this applies to both movies. The levels themselves reflect every major scene in both movies which I do like. The only real filler section of the game I can think of is the game extends the Jack Jack vs Raccoon fight out for way too long.

Playability/Replay Value[]

LEGO The Incredibles has mini kits in every level which requires you to go back in the levels and collect them, like many other LEGO games this can get repetitive and borring playing every level you have visited just to get a vechile that doesn't change the game too much. All the minikit vehicles in this game are just nice little references and same goes for the way you get Red Power Bricks in this game. There are 12 Pixar Builds and you unlock Pixar related characters like WALL - E and the figures look really nice but besides that there is not much reason to replay the game. The levels themselves are very basic and have very simple puzzles, but I do think the levels from The Incredibles are much better than Incredibles 2 levels just based on how they are designed and they add more to the movie.

Characters[]

LEGO The Incredibles has many many characters, if you want to see a full list I'd check out the Brickipeda page LEGO The Incredibles as the character list is complete and has everyone's abilities. The more notable ones are the Pixar related characters and as I've said they look really cool and most of them, mainly WALL - E, I'd love to get physical form. I'd also like to get Mr. Incredible BigFig physical form but that isn't related too much to this game.

Graphics[]

They are pretty good for 2018, I think there are games with better graphics and games with worse graphics that came out in this year. I am not the best at judging graphics as most of the time graphics is something I don't care about. The Steam version also runs the fastest at 60 fps while the console versions run at 30 fps and thus the Steam version does have better graphics if graphics is something you do care about.

Final Thoughts[]

This game is good but very simple for everyone I'd say get it on PC and wait for a sale. I'd highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of LEGO games or The Incredibles. Besides that you have a very simplistic but fun LEGO game.
