Background
The Royal Guard were the personal guard of Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi. They helped protect her as well as secure vital locations of the Systar System. After Emmet attempted to rescue Wyldstyle, they protected the key room but failed. They presumably continued their guarding duties after the conflict was resolved.
