Sally's family is a family from the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu animated series, more specifically, they are featured in season fifteen, also known as Crystalized.

Sally is a teenage girl who lives in the countryside of Ninjago Island.
Background[]
An aspiring musician, Sally dreamed of going to Ninjago City to pursue her career. However, her parents wouldn't allow her to do so because, though old enough to drive, she was too young to live on her own. Desperate to live her dream, Sally ran away from home with her parents' car. During the drive through the desert, she came across Kai, Zane, and Dareth; not recognizing them or knowing about their fugitive status, she offered them a ride. When questioned about a photo of her parents taped to the dashboard, however, Sally broke down in sorrow and stopped the car.
Officers of the Ninjago Police then arrived to apprehend Sally's passengers, but Sally believed they were after her and thus tried to elude them. She was appalled to learn the truth, but both she and her companions found themselves floating down a river in her parents' car. Eluding the police, they stopped only to see that the chase had caused additional damage to the car, which saddened Sally further. Zane, who had been suppressing his own negative emotions recently, realized that Sally was trying to deny the feelings that told her what she should do: go home to her parents.
With the encouragement of her new friends, Sally returned home, and was greeted warmly by her relieved parents.

Sally's parents are the parents of Sally who live in the countryside of Ninjago Island.
Background[]
Sally's parents wouldn't let her travel to Ninjago City on her own because she was too young to be on her own. Defiantly, Sally left home with the family car, causing her parents great distress. A photo of the three of them was taped to the dashboard of the car, which prompted Zane to ask about it when Sally picked him and his friends up. When Hounddog McBrag arrived to apprehend the Ninja, Sally briefly believed her parents had sent the police after her.
Eventually, Sally's new friends helped her realize that she needed to go home, though she feared her parents would be upset. However, upon seeing her, their initial reaction was one of relief at seeing her safe.
