Scorpion is a Marvel Super Heroes minifigure released in 2016.
Background
Comics
Mac Gargan was a private investigator hired by J. Jonah Jameson to find out how Peter Parker managed to get pictures of Spider-Man. With the help of Dr. Farley Stillwell, Mac Gargan was fitted with a scorpion suit and working mechanical tail and given great strength with mutagenic treatment to hunt down the web-slinger, but the treatment damaged Gargan's mind and drove him insane. Since then, he's vowed revenge on both Spider-Man and Jameson later on, Mac Gargan would bond with the Venom symbiote and become the new Venom where he would eventually become the Spider-Man for Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers.
