Scorpion is a Marvel Super Heroes minifigure to be released in summer 2016.
Background
Mac Gargan was a private investigator hired by J. Jonah Jameson to find out how Peter Parker managed to get pictures of Spider-Man. With the help of Dr. Farley Stillwell, Mac Gargan was fitted with a scorpion suit and working mechanical tail and given great strength with mutagenic treatment to hunt down the web-slinger, but the treatment damaged Gargan's mind and drove him insane. Since then, he's vowed revenge on both Spider-Man and Jameson later on, Mac Gargan would bond with the Venom symbiote and become the new Venom where he would eventually become the Spider-Man for Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers. After being separated from the Venom symbiote following Norman Osborn's defeat during the Siege of Asgard, Alistair Smythe had him resume his role of Scorpion with some cybernetic enhancements to his suit.
