Scorpions are large arthropods that live on Planet U in the Rock Raiders theme. They only appear in the PlayStation video game.creatures from the depths of Planet U in the Rock Raiders storyline. Their only appearance is in the PS1 game.

Scorpions on Planet U are giant, about the size of Small Diggers. They will attack nearby Rock Raiders. Three shots from a Pusher Beam will eradicate them. They come in two variations: Purple scorpions, which can only pinch Rock Raiders, and green scorpions, which can stand at a distance shooting plasma globules from their claws at passing Rock Raiders or vehicles. In the Windows game, there is also a smaller red scorpion, which is unused.
