He is one of Harry's dorm-mates, Seamus tends to play the role of extra Gryffindor character ready in the wings with commentary. His best friend is Dean Thomas and Seamus' dad is a Muggle and his mom is a witch which means he's a Half-Blood (but not the Half-Blood Prince.) In Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix, he becomes angry at Harry because his mom almost took him out of school because Harry told everyone Lord Voldemort returned,(which he did, Harry saw and fought him). Fortunately, Seamus eventually belives Harry. He always blows things up when doing spells over and over. [1]
