Shadow is a Minifigure from the Dino Attack theme released in 2005.
Description[]
Shadow has two variants that differ in torso and helmet. The first variant has a dark stone grey vest with rope, and a black aviator's helmet. The second variant has a black torso with chemicals belted across his torso, and a black crash helmet with a transparent brown visor. Both variants have black arms and pants and dark stone grey gloves. He has a scowling facial expression with thick grey markings across his face; as confirmed by Standing Small: A Celebration of 30 Years of the LEGO Minifigure, these markings are a form of camouflage. He is bald, as shown in his online bio.
Background[]
Shadow is an adventurer who has explored internationally. Since Shadow's home was destroyed in the initial dinosaur invasion, he is the most driven dino hunter on the team. He uses underhanded tactics, has a dark sense of humor, and does not hesitate to exterminate the dinosaurs with any means necessary. He frequently argues with Specs over whether to defend from the dinosaurs or take the fight to their nests, and Specs is frustrated by Shadow's refusal to follow orders. However, Shadow does get along well with Viper, who typically calms him down.
He is also a Rank 5 networker in My LEGO Network. He is friends with fellow Dino Attack networkers Viper and Digger, as well as Jen Juniper. On his networker page, he will trade a Stegosaurus Blueprint for five Purple LEGO Bricks; a Brachiosaurus Blueprint for ten Green LEGO Bricks; and a Street Bike Sticker for twenty Red LEGO Bricks. He also performs mail trades, sending the Dino Ambush Module, Rank 1 Blueprint for a Dino Scale; the Dino Ambush Module, Rank 2 Blueprint for an Engine; and the Dino Ambush Module, Rank 3 Blueprint for a Dino Fang. He asks the player a question in the mail; he sends the Stegosaurus Blueprint if the player replies "No" or the T-Rex 1 Sticker if the player replies "Yes". He also sends a Viper 1 Sticker if asked for a sticker.

Shadow Shadow is the most driven member of the dino hunting squad. His home city was devastated in the first dino attack, and although his family made it to safety, his entire neighborhood was flattened. An adventurer who has been in every international hot spot, he prefers to use the Sonic Screamer first and worry about the dino’s intentions later. He and Specs argue a lot over whether the team should simply be defending against dino attacks or actually tracking down dino nests and taking the fight to them. |
