Shadow ARF Trooper is a promotional minifigure from the Star Wars theme. Shadow ARF Troopers were a variant of the ARF Trooper and wore black armor, so it is possible that their armor had the cloaking ability such as the black armor of Imperial Shadow Stormtrooper. They were likely used as scouts like the regular ARF troopers.

Notes

• On the bag, the lines on the trooper's helmet are shown dark blue, but the on the actual minifigure, the lines are a lighter sand blue color.
• This minifigure was given away by Shop@home on May 3rd and 4th, 2011, with any Star Wars purchase over US $75/€50/£50/AU $90.
• On the 4th, at around 14:30 PM (CET), stocks of the minifigure ran out. From then, the site displayed the message, "Due to extremely high demand, we have unfortunately run out of stock of the Star Wars™ ARF Shadow Trooper Minifigure. You can still get the Limited Edition, Numbered LEGO® Star Wars™ poster free with all purchases and free shipping! May the Force be with you!™"
• Likely due to an error, in German LEGO Stores, it was possible to get the minifigure for any LEGO purchase above €50, not just Star Wars.
• Likely due to an error, in Hungary, it was possible to get the minifigure with any Star Wars order above HUF 1400 (approx. US $7.50).
